Venice Exhibitions: what a cool summer

Those who says Venice in summer has nothing to offer do not really know our city. As every year, this summer Venice shows that it has a lot to give to art and photography lovers.

Picasso and Warhol, Gaetano Pesce and Boetti: international and Italian masters enlighten the main museums of Venice. In my opinion, it feels like the art on display this summer multiplies the hidden poetry of the city, exalting the fascinating atmosphere that makes it so special to our eyes.

If you will stay at Corte di Gabriela from June onwards, we suggest you to visit this selection of exhibitions in Venice.

Picasso on the Beach – Peggy Guggenheim Collection

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection never fails to surprise us: this year we will have the pleasure to see a Pablo Picasso’s selection of works. Peggy was fond of Picasso; not by chance, one of the central pieces of her collection is “On the Beach”, dated 1937. That’s why the exhibition revolves around the theme of the beach, a subject that we often find in Picasso works made during the Provence period and the Surrealism one.

Arsen Revazov’s photographs strike for strength and originality. A choice of completely red photos dedicated to Russia’s native country. It is not a political or social statement, but one of those many photographic experiments conducted by this artist on both urban and rural landscapes.
